This time, we allowed all the 1,441,455 people living in Bronx to be jurors by picking up various signals they created, including reviews, online & offline sentiment metrics, citations, Google search result rankings, links between websites, brand mentions, social media activity, and more.

Essentially, this competition focuses on medical experience, communication skills, commitment to evidence-based medical care, and overall patient satisfaction. We discovered and reviewed all 34 pulmonologists (and respiratory medicine clinics) in Bronx, then shortlisted 8 who offer a range of services, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, or sleep apnea, and more. Finally, we ranked them based on their qualifications/education, referrals from other caregivers, professional reputation, and involvement in research, publications, or contributions to the fields of respiratory and chest medicine.
