This time, we allowed all the 1,621,814 people living in New York City to be jurors by picking up various signals they created, including reviews, online & offline sentiment metrics, citations, Google search result rankings, links between websites, brand mentions, social media activity, and more.

Essentially, this competition focuses on medical experience, communication & ortho skills, commitment to evidence-based medical care, and overall patient satisfaction. We discovered and reviewed all 23 ortho clinics & doctors in New York City, then shortlisted 7 who offer a range of services, including surgeries, physical therapy, sports medicine & rehab, pain management, orthotics and prosthetics, and more. Finally, we ranked them based on their qualifications/education, referrals from other caregivers, professional reputation, and involvement in research, publications, or contributions to the medical fields of orthopedics & traumatology.
